Baobab Tree
Baobab trees are found scattered across the African savannah in Southern, East and West Africa. They are known to reach a thousand years in age and have girths which can grow to over 30 meters, making them some of the oldest and largest trees on our planet. Every year, the trees produce beautiful white flowers which develop into large fruit. Within the fruit, embedded in a creamy white pulp, are dozens of baobab seeds, from which the baobab seed oil is extracted.
