We source our baobab oil from EcoProducts, a small South African company based in Limpopo Province. EcoProducts is involved in empowering local communities and plays an important role in the conservation of and further research into the ecology of the baobab tree.
Organic Baobab Oil is the main active ingredient in the Baobody range. The oil is pure, cold pressed and unrefined. Baobab oil is known to improve skin elasticity and to encourage skin regeneration. It is an excellent moisturizer which is easily absorbed into the skin. It contains vitamin D and omega 3,6,9 fatty acids, important for the maintenance of healthy skin and hair.

Organic certification means that no fertilizers and pesticides are used and that wild harvesting is sustainable. EcoProducts is involved in ongoing monitoring and research into the ecology of baobabs to advance our understanding of the environment in which they occur.
